This allows a little bit more of a direct comparison. Again, hairstyle and length is the easiest thing to change, so I wouldn't give over importance to the obvious difference in hair cut. If TJK did cut his hair back to make it look like more of a receding hairline, it is an easy way to change his appearance and make him look older. It does seem that the man is looking at Paula Prince, and I just read in the book "Anatomy of Motive" by FBI serial killer profiler John Douglas, who worked on the Tylenol Murders case, that the FBI DID think that this bearded man in the picture WAS probably the UNSUB who did the crime.

I have discussed the 1986 Cyanide Tylenol deaths, which started in February of that year, included on on Ted's birthday in Austin, Texas, and ended in September in New Jersey. Hotel records show Kaczynski stayed in Helena, as he did when going out of state or coming back into the state, in early April and late May of 1986. He usually did not leave the state unless it was for criminal purposes, but there were no bombings in all of 1986. Of the six people affected by the poisonings, four were technicians, three were lab workers and two were university lab workers - all groups targeted by TJK.

I also discussed the strange incident involving a man in Martinez, CA who said he got phone calls from someone saying he was the Zodiac, and after a break in at his house with nothing taken, was sickened by drinking from a 7-Up bottle with Arsenic in it. In May 1984 a tax auditor named Thomas Dresser died after drinking from a Coca - Cola bottle with Cyanide. It happened in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Kaczynski had Potassium chemicals, which could be used as a precursor to making Potassium Cyanide, with a label from a lab in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, indicating that he may have been in that small city that is due north from Lombard, Illinois, at some point.

Morf also found an interesting news item. In the Sacramento area in the Fall of 1972, food products filled with Cyanide were sent to people, with a message that if the "killer" responsible for the Vietnam War was re-elected, these food products with Cyanide would be placed on store shelves.
